Lonville Classic 2015

For the 5th edition of the Lonville Classic we moved from the shimmering lakes of Como to the gorgeous wine-country of Piemonte in Italy. What did not change is that this rally had the feeling of a group of friends out and about enjoying their shared passion of classic cars in scenic surroundings, with amazing stops and great food along the ride and – not to forget – a healthy dose of humour.

What a magical week-end it was, as we enjoyed Piemonte to its fullest as the unbelievable backdrop to the cars finding their way across hills and valleys. Single track roads through vineyards, wine tasting under the sun and a culinary feast at Michelin star restaurants made for an amazing few days.

Piemonte is right at the foot of the Alps and as our cars felt right at home on the glorious roads so did we. Just like always, winning was not only about perfect navigation and timekeeping in the rally challenges, but more so about living the moment and looking the part. On Sunday, ‘dressing to match your car’ was all part of the fun and the competition!

Splendid weather, superb wines, divine food, amazing people and enticing fun and stories made this Lonville Classic one of the grandest to date. We are certain that this passion will continue to bring us together for many editions to come.
